Tears

Yesterday, I was watching a movie "Burfi". There was a scene where the actress Illena asks to Ranbir Kapoor by signs "Is he married to Priyanka Chopra (actress)"? Ranbir answers with sign, "no marriage, our hearts have met". Such a beautiful scene it was, I can not explain in words. Tears rolled in my eyes, it was very spontaneous.

I felt overwhelming joy, as tears were dried up in my eyes for a while and they have started rolling over again. I instantly realized it was the magic of Sudarshan kriya. Practicing Kriya makes you sensitive, subtle and yet strong. After doing a mistake of not practicing kriya for few days, I am practicing it regularly without fail. And I could see the changes.

Tears are beautiful gift to given to the mankind. It is not the sign of weakness. In Joy, in Gratitude, in bliss tears rolls from our eyes. Guruji says angels also long for tears of devotion.

Sports, Games, Olympic...

It's been a long time, I don't know if I'm good to write anymore. It doesn't feel as fluent and spontaneous off the keyboard as it used to. I am writing for my own sake. I wonder how words come from nowhere. This article was lingering in my mind for a long time and so I am just trying to arrange bits and pieces together.

One day one of my colleague asked why do you watch a football match? What to watch twenty two people running after a ball. Yes on one hand Game has no meaning on the other hand it has. I could not explain to her however who has played football knows. A tremendous hard-work, persistence, dedication, passion, concentration, co-ordination involves in it. Sports teaches you awareness, endurance, discipline and to respect which are very important things in life.

There are moments in the sports when something takes over and you achieve something you yourself wonder; is that I who really played this. When there no "I", something extra-ordinary happens and you witness it being an observer. I think these are the magical moments of any sports. Millions of spectators watching a game of Cricket or football all are connected with the Game. A four/wicket or a goal elevates the spirits of thousands. It is not only limited to players, spectators are also deeply involved in it. Game has got that power.

Among all the sporting events Olympic has always thrilled me and runs close to my heart. A tremendous amount of efforts is been put for the event. With every athlete there is personal story associated with it, conquering one self. Four years of persistent efforts are put, a medal is missed for a fraction of seconds. Take a diving competition, tremendous amount of body control for fraction of seconds or high jump athlete defying gravity. I like Olympic because of its pure form. It is only played for the passion of the sport. The moment that thrills me more is the athlete standing on podium having tears in his/her eyes when national anthem being played. Sport reveals the character of the man.

Game starts in the mind.God must be very sports loving; HE created the mind and left upto us to play the Game. I guess God must be proud of his invention...hehe just joking :). Life starts with a Game and Life is a Game.
