#BryanAdamsUltimate - Coming Straight from the Heart

Yesterday (12Oct18) my dear friend Karan gave me a surprise gift of live concert by Bryan Adams (The Ultimate Tour) in Mumbai. Thanks Karan. I have spent my teenage and youth-hood listening to his songs..the unique husky voice..so back to those wonderful memories....his songs are ever young n fresh.

It is not that the first time I was attending a grand live concert however first live Rock concert. Initially I was finding myself offbeat. Mumbai is a Mayanagari one can easily get lost in the glamour of Mumbai but what I admire about the Mumbai is its enthusiasm and resilience. I will write something more on Mumbai separately.
But as the event started I merged n swung with the songs n music....  Heaven....Cloud No.9....Summer of 69...Coming straight form the heart....Everything I do I do it for you....and the list goes on.....

I was feeling ecstatic with each song sung n played.... I was mesmerized with his full involvement during his performance...how his energy, enthusiasm and soulful singing elevated ten-thousands of spirits...surely Gandharva energy was flowing through him. It was hot in Mumbai and with heavy lights on the stage it was even more hot, sweat was literally pouring through his hands, but in breath-taking performance of two hours he kept the audience on the edge. Even he did not drink a sip of water and nor shown a sign of fatigue, mind you he is 58. I think his dedication and being 100% in the moment in-spite of all the external factors, years of practice and commitment i.e. Sadhana makes Gandharva energy flow through him effortlessly.

He mentioned that someone asked him to how is it like in India to perform, how do people respond. He told that person to come and see. Yes, India is such an adopting nation, it welcomes all and accepts all. Somebody also mentioned him he is much like an Indian, perhaps that's why in India he was most appreciated western artist. He mentioned that how he is grateful to his parents for whatever he is today. How at the age of 15, he wanted to pursue music and his parents helped him with 1000$ which they saved for his higher studies.

Before Bryan Adams I used to enjoy Western music occasionally however because of him I started following English song lyrics so closely.  I loved his simplicity, depth and variety.  One of such inspirational songs which was integral part of my life, STAR which I used to follow very dearly (many years before coming to the Art of Living). I have mentioned few lines from the song below...

We all need a shining star on which we can depend
N' so tonight we're gonna wish upon a star
We never wished upon before
(to find what you're looking for)

I was eagerly looking\waiting for that STAR and certainly I have found my SHINING STAR in the form of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar. He has given a meaning and fruitful purpose to this life. Incidentally Bryan is also a great admirer of Sri Sri.

Because of Gurudev Sri Sri I would certainly say 18 Till I Die.....because the message HE gives
Let's make it All for One and All for Love
