Nature !!!

Couple of weeks back I decided to do some plantation at my home's terrace space. I brought one palm tree and brought an empty planter pot. I decided to sow Coriander seeds in the empty pot.

It took more than ten days to germinate out of the clay. I felt so happy seeing the first sprout and it taught me to keep patience and faith. Some of the sprouts died after one or two days. Now only 70% remaining out of what I actually sow and they are still so delicate.

By this exercise I came to know how much efforts do farmer must be putting and I simply buy coriander leaves just passing 10 Rs note. It requires tremendous patience and care. Farmers are treating the crop like a baby and they bring basic necessary food to us. Do farmers get real value for their efforts? Guruji has given mantra to chant "Annadata Sukhi Bhava" before eating our food. This small exercise made me realize about this mantra and it got deeply rooted in me.

In this current era of Facebook and Cellphones are we not living more of a virtual life, going away from the nature? In the morning watering to plants gives me so much of satisfaction. I could feel the satvik energy around.
Being with Nature makes us feel at home and makes us rejuvenated. Seeing a Sunrise or Sunset gives so much of peace. In this era of technology have we not forgotten simple things like playing with tress, sky-gazing, playing with clay? Being with Nature expands our consciousnesses same as do in the meditation. Hearing a sound of water, listening to different sounds of birds, itself is a music. I remember from one of my jungle trails, RFO Paresh Porob Sir asked us to listen as many sounds as possible in one minute. That one minute was so eternal.

Fortunately today we have Sudarshan Kriya which brings back to our true nature. Nature is constantly bestowing its unconditional love -upon us.
