Cosmos and you :)

Constantly keep in mind the COSMOS and its vastness. With respect to that the things in life has no significance, no absolute position no reference :)

Be Gentle to yourself

If you can not forgive yourself how can you forgive others? If you hurt yourself for your mistakes, you bound to hurt others for their mistakes. For example, if you get angry on somebody and afterwards if you feel guilty or get feeling that I should not had been angry, then it indicates that you are condemning yourself. You will carry this nagging in your head. Similarly, if other person does a mistake you will
behave in a condemning manner. It is always how you behave with yourself, you will behave accordingly with other. As there is no other :) :) :)

Nice Quote

Jyotiba Temple

In the auspicious month of Shravan, Monday carries a special significance. On this day Lord Shiva is worshiped. That reminded me, my small trek to Jyotiba Temple. This temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. It is located 15 kms north-west of Kolhapur city.

It is very common practice by people in Kolhapur city, to trek to this temple on every Sunday. I started this trek from base village, Kushire. Many people start walking very early in morning from Kolhapur city itself.

Here are few photos taken during trek. Hope you enjoy :).
This temple is also known as Dhkhanacha Raja (King of Southen Region). Every year on Chaira Shuddha 11th i.e. on the occasion of Ekadashi, thousands of people gather to workship Lord Jyotiba. They celebrate their joy by dancing with huge sticks knows as "Sasankathi" with throwing gulal (vermilion) in air. The scattering gulal makes the whole mountain pink.
