Mysterious Woman

Having a hobby of photography, I have habit of interpreting each n every photo I see. To enhance my knowledge of photography, daily I used to choose one photograph by a professional photographer, study its technical details and interpret it in my own. Taking a step ahead I started sending the photo and associated quote to my friends as a Good Morning mail. Further I decided to choose one subject like Children, Nature, Love etc and created series of mails. Going on like that I created one series on Woman. I really get wondered when I look at this series again. Its surprising for myself also how did that happen through me. Hence I thought why should I not put in on blog. Hope you enjoy :).
I have tried to mention names of many of the photographers who took these awesome photographs. Because of them, I can bring this series across to you. They may have different interpretation behind each photograph. I beg a pardon to those photographers whose names are not mentioned.

Yesterday, company celebrated Woman's day by distributing chocolates only to women! .....grrrrrr. So just by that incidence I thought why not start a Goodmorning series on woman :). Here is the first one.
Sure God created man before woman.
But then you always make a rough draft before the final masterpiece.

And each person is such an infinite mystery, inexhaustible, unfathomable, that it is not possible that ever you can say that "I have known her," or, "I have known him." At the most you can say, "I have tried my best, but the mystery remains a mystery." In fact the more you know, the more mysterious the other becomes. Then love is a constant adventure. ---- OSHO

You must be surprised, what a MAN's photograph is doing in a WOMAN's series? However, I have chosen this photograph purposefully.Incidentally, I could not find a suitable quote for this photograph, hence thought to key down some lines on my own.
Technically speaking, a perfect composition, perfect light and exposure. The catching light of cigarette is nullified by serene face of man or in other words face of the man is more radiant than the catching light of cigarette. That's why I suppose photographer had purposefully kept the color of cigarette light original burning red as against the sepia color tone of photograph. Depth of his eyes and Buddha like smile gives you warm-friendly feeling. A charismatic portrait.
Just by the incidence, as I could not find suitable quote for this photograph, few funny thoughts popped in my mind. Over the centuries, woman has been praised by man through poetry, paintings, sculptures and in modern days through photography. Certainly woman represents the beauty however man has got something which is beyond the beauty. Why ever MAN had not been part of poetry, paintings or sculptures by woman? Was it because man did not give chance to woman to do so OR Was it because woman was loaded with lots of important responsibilities so she could not have enough time to these things?OR Is this the way of Nature? OR something else....... I don't know and I still wonder :)!

"A woman is the most powerful [hence deadly dangerous ;)] creature on this planet. Unfortunately women are not aware of their power and those few who are aware are not aware how to use it." -- SACH
Sorry to end the photographic series on woman which we started after woman's day, on such a paradoxical note.
I was wondering which photograph to choose for this. I was looking for something which shows mighty power however should not be aggressive. What else can be aesthetically powerful than NATURE? In the photograph the center of attraction is a woman and as if she is carrying all the power of Nature with her, to bring life with vivid colors. The approaching woman in the photograph adds a certain dynamism. I hope this will be Aaj ki Nari :).In fact thanks to Eka, because of her , I could get the perfectly appropriate photograph at the right time.

Best Wishes,
~Sachin
